These terms are an agreement between you and Pieve about your use of the Pieve website at hipieve.com and the Pieve service (the "Service"). If you use the Service for an organization, you accept these terms on its behalf and confirm you are authorized to do so; "you" then means both you and that organization.

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.

Who we are

The Service is provided under the name Pieve ("Pieve", "we", "us") by Pablo Feldman, an individual registered in Argentina, with its website at hipieve.com.

Postal address: Humboldt 455, Ciudad Autonoma de Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Contact: pablo@hipieve.com.

What Pieve does

Pieve is an assistant that does work in the business apps you connect to it. You describe what you need, and Pieve carries it out in those apps: reading and changing records, sending messages, creating files, and similar actions. Pieve can also set up automations that keep running on their own, on a schedule or when something happens in one of your apps, until you pause or delete them.

Your account

  • You must be at least 18 and use the Service for business or professional purposes.
  • Keep your password secure and tell us right away at pablo@hipieve.com if you think your account has been used without permission.
  • You are responsible for what happens under your account, and your organization's admins are responsible for the roles and permissions they give members.

Connecting your apps

  • When you connect an app with OAuth, an API key, a token or a username and password, you authorize Pieve to access that app and act in it on your behalf, within the access you granted, whenever you ask it to or an automation you set up runs.
  • You confirm you have the right to connect each app and to let Pieve access its data, including any rights you need from your employer, your customers or the app provider.
  • Your use of each connected app remains subject to that app's own terms. We are not responsible for connected apps, their availability, or changes they make that affect how Pieve works with them.
  • You can disconnect an app at any time. Automations that depend on it will stop working.

You stay in control, and you are responsible for the result

Pieve acts on your instructions and shows you what it did. Some actions ask for your approval first. Still:

  • Pieve can make mistakes. It can misread a request, choose the wrong record, or produce output that is incomplete or wrong. Review the plan and the results, especially before approving actions that send messages, move money, or delete or overwrite data.
  • You are responsible for the instructions you give, for approving actions, and for the automations you set up and leave running.
  • Many actions in connected apps cannot be undone by Pieve. Keep the backups your business needs in the apps themselves.

Your content

  • "Your content" means what you put into the Service (messages, files, knowledge, automations) and the data Pieve reads from your connected apps for you.
  • You keep all rights to your content. You give us permission to host, process, transmit and display it only as needed to provide and secure the Service for you, including sending it to the third-party providers described in the privacy policy, such as language model providers.
  • We do not use your content to train models.
  • You are responsible for your content and confirm that you have the rights needed for us to process it.

Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to:

  • Break the law, or violate the rights of others, including privacy and intellectual property rights.
  • Send spam or unsolicited bulk messages, or impersonate anyone.
  • Access apps, accounts or data you are not authorized to access.
  • Break a connected app's terms, rate limits or security measures.
  • Interfere with the Service, probe or test its security without our written permission, or reverse engineer it except where the law allows.
  • Build automations that harm people, or make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on individuals without human review.

We may suspend or limit access to protect the Service, other users or third parties, and will tell you why when we can.

Availability and changes

The Service is under active development. We may add, change or remove features, and the Service may be unavailable at times. We will give reasonable notice of changes that materially reduce what you can do, when we can.

Fees

The Service is currently offered without charge to invited customers. If we introduce paid plans, we will tell you the prices and terms in advance, and nothing will be charged without your agreement.

Ending the agreement

  • You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
  • We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if required by law, or if we stop offering the Service. When we can, we will give notice and time to export your content.
  • When your account ends, automations stop running, connections are removed and your content is deleted as described in the privacy policy.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service or its output will be error free or uninterrupted.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows:

  • Neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, even if told they were possible.
  • Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or 100 US dollars.

These limits do not apply where the law does not allow them.

Indemnity

You will defend and hold Pieve harmless from claims by third parties arising from your content, your connected apps, or your use of the Service in breach of these terms or the law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic. Any dispute about them or about the Service will be decided by the ordinary courts of the Ciudad Autonoma de Buenos Aires, Argentina, unless the consumer protection law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim in your own courts.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will post the new version on this page with its date and, for significant changes, tell you by email or in the Service before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after that, the new terms apply.

General

These terms and the privacy policy are the whole agreement between you and Pieve about the Service. If a part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer these terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
