This policy explains what information Pieve collects, what we do with it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to the Pieve website at hipieve.com and to the Pieve service (the "Service").

Pieve is an assistant that does work in the business apps you connect to it, and that sets up automations that keep running on a schedule or when something happens in one of those apps. To do that, Pieve has to read and change data in those apps on your behalf. This policy is written around that fact.

Who we are

The Service is provided under the name Pieve ("Pieve", "we", "us") by Pablo Feldman, an individual registered in Argentina, with its website at hipieve.com.

Postal address: Humboldt 455, Ciudad Autonoma de Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Contact for anything in this policy: pablo@hipieve.com.

Information we collect

Account information

When you sign up or are invited, we collect your name, email address, a password (stored only as a salted hash, never in readable form), the organization you belong to, and your role and permissions in it.

Connections to your apps

When you connect an app, you either sign in to that app and authorize Pieve through OAuth, or you give Pieve an API key, token or username and password for it. We store the resulting credentials (access tokens, refresh tokens, API keys, passwords) so Pieve can act in that app when you ask, or when an automation you set up runs. We only request the access the app's connection needs, and the provider's consent screen shows you that access before you approve it.

Content you give Pieve and data from your apps

This includes the messages and instructions you write to Pieve, files you attach, the knowledge you add for your organization, the skills and automations you create, and the data Pieve reads from or writes to your connected apps while doing the work you asked for (for example contacts, orders, invoices, tickets, messages or records, depending on the app).

Activity and logs

We record what Pieve did and when: each request, each action taken in a connected app, the result, errors, approvals, and each automation run. We also keep technical logs such as IP address, browser type, timestamps and error reports, to run, secure and debug the Service.

Website

The hipieve.com website does not use advertising or analytics trackers and does not set cookies. Our hosting provider keeps standard request logs (IP address, time, page requested) for security and operations.

How we use information

We use information to:

  • Provide the Service: sign you in, carry out the work you ask for in your connected apps, and run the automations you set up.
  • Show you what Pieve did, with the results, so you can check and undo work where the app allows it.
  • Keep the Service secure: detect abuse, investigate incidents, and protect your accounts and data.
  • Fix problems and improve how the Service works.
  • Send you messages about the Service, such as sign-in and password reset emails, invitations, automation notices and important changes to these terms or this policy.
  • Meet legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use the data from your connected apps for advertising.

We do not use your content or the data from your connected apps to train our own models or anyone else's. The language model providers we use process it to produce responses for you under terms that do not allow them to train on it (see below).

Processing by language model providers

To understand your requests and decide what to do, Pieve sends the relevant parts of your conversation, your organization's knowledge, and the data from your apps needed for the task to third-party large language model providers. Today these are OpenAI, Anthropic, Google (Gemini) and Groq, used through their business APIs. Under their API terms, these providers do not use API data to train their models, and they may keep it for a limited period for abuse monitoring.

When Pieve needs to run code to work with your data (for example to transform a file or compute a result), that code runs in an isolated sandbox operated by a third-party provider.

Who we share information with

We share information only:

  • With service providers who run parts of the Service for us: cloud hosting and storage, language model providers, code sandboxes, email delivery and real-time messaging. They may use it only to provide their service to us. A current list is available on request at pablo@hipieve.com.
  • With the apps you connect, when Pieve acts in them on your behalf. What those apps do with data is governed by their own policies.
  • Within your organization: other members can see shared threads, automations, connections and knowledge according to the roles and permissions set by your organization's admins.
  • If the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users, the public or Pieve.
  • In a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case this policy continues to apply to the information transferred.

How we protect information

  • Credentials for your connected apps are encrypted at rest and are only decrypted when Pieve needs them to act in that app.
  • Data is encrypted in transit with TLS.
  • Access to production systems is limited to the people who need it to run the Service.
  • Pieve asks for your approval before actions that need it, and records every action it takes.

No system is perfectly secure. If we learn of a breach that affects your information, we will notify you as the law requires.

How long we keep information

  • Account information: while your account is active.
  • Connection credentials: until you disconnect the app or delete your account. Disconnecting deletes the stored credentials. You can also revoke Pieve's access from the connected app's own settings.
  • Content, activity logs and automation runs: while your account is active, unless you delete them sooner.
  • After you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your information within 30 days, except for backups (which expire on their own schedule) and records we must keep by law.

Your choices and rights

You can:

  • See and change your account information in your settings.
  • Disconnect any app at any time.
  • Delete threads, automations, files and knowledge you created.
  • Ask us for a copy of your personal information, to correct it, or to delete it, by writing to pablo@hipieve.com.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, such as objecting to or restricting some processing, or complaining to a data protection authority. We will answer requests within the time the law requires.

If your account was created by your organization, some requests may need to go through your organization's admin, who controls that workspace.

International transfers

We and our providers may process information in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where the law requires it, we use appropriate safeguards for those transfers.

Children

The Service is for businesses and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We will post changes on this page and update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email or in the Service before it takes effect.
